Football Years - Rearo Sponsorship Banner from Anna Pearson on Vimeo.
This is the finished STV commercial (without sound).  It is a sponsorship banner for a company called Rearo, who sponsor 'The Football Years' aired on STV.  The animation is hand drawn and composited on after effects.  The project took a week from concept to finished animation.  The message was to make things simple (Rearo's tag line) so to convey this, the first player was to be doing fancy footwork whilst the second player was to keep things 'simple' - he doesn't show off, but neatly hits the ball into the back of the net.

1st Draft Football Years - Rearo sponsorship banner from Anna Pearson on Vimeo.
This is a first draft animation for an STV commercial I animated.  It is a sponsorship advert for Rearo who sponsor the programme 'The Football Years'.

OCTOBER 2010

Grow from Anna Pearson on Vimeo.
This is a commercial I did for STV, for a school in Scotland. (I have removed the schools logo from the end of the sequence.) It was mainly drawn animation - I added ink stamps for the centre of the flowers and the sun. It was composited on after-effects.

COLLEGE PROJECTS 2007-2010

ECA Sting - PrECArious Rescue from Anna Pearson on Vimeo.
A 3rd year college project in which we had to create stings for the 4th years Degree show.

The Accordionist from Anna Pearson on Vimeo.
This is an anamatic, which includes sections of finished animation, that I created in college. We were to choose a profession, mine being a busker, and during the sequence something was to happen to make our main character change mood. My busker is almost like a machine, he begins as though he is 'winding down' like a clockwork toy, but as soon as he is given a coin he has a new lease of life, playing so frantically he and his accordion become entangled.
